1. ACS has just become a Scott Bicycle dealer. We hope to start seeing some of their bicycles in the store by January. Check out their website www.scottusa.com
2. On November 7, Tom Flanagan (Big-T) was voted a Vice President of C.L.I.M.B. (Concerned Long Island Mountain Bicyclist) He starts in his new role in 2008. Lets wish him luck. Check out the CLIMB website www.climbonline.org

4. 2008 is only a few weeks away, and here at ACS we are busy planning many great events. Here is a sneak peak at what we are planning: Worst Day of the year ride & Chili cook off, Bicycle repair clinic, Bicycle Commuting & Touring seminar, 2008 bicycle demo at Stillwell Woods, and more in the works. F.Y.I. A.C.S. will be closing early on Friday Oct, 26 @ 5:30PM, Also we will be closed all day on Sunday Oct. 28 for Carlo's Wedding. Congratulations to Carlo & Kelly. 

 1. Do your Holiday shopping at A.C.S. this Season. We carry great gifts for your outdoor enthusiasts, Life Is good Tees, Winter Riding gear, books, sleds, Day Packs and of course some great Bikes. Some come on down to the shop and see all that we have to finish your gift list. www.gorideabike.com

2. The Bethpage Park trail clean up was held Sept. 30 and was a huge success. We had around 20 volunteers from A.C.S. & C.L.I.M.B. and were able to trim back growth on about 5 miles of trails, removed about 10 bags of garbage and repaired two washed out hills. Afterwards we went back to the store for a  great BBQ and laughs. Thanks to all who volunteered. We hope to work with the park to organize some more work parties in the future. 

 3. The Sunday morning ride will resume on November 4. We will meet at the Picnic area of Bethpage State Park at 9:30 AM. As always call the shop to confirm. 516-755-2453
